Originally collected and printed by mycologist Milo Zverino, in Ban Saket, Thailand. This Cubensis variety gets its name from the Bubalis Bubalis buffalo, 1 in 10 of which, are pink. The collected specimens were found growing on manure in a paddy field where the water buffalo often graze.
